Carly Hartshorn

Carly Hartshorn is a dedicated healthcare professional with over two decades of expertise in the field of Neurogenic bladder and Bowel dysfunction management. Her career to date has spanned across diverse healthcare settings, including public tertiary facilities, private practice, clinical research, and community-based care primary care, where she currently serves.

In 2014, she successfully completed her Nurse Practitioner training, focusing on spinal injury management. In pursuit of her vision to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals following catastrophic injuries or illnesses, Carly founded her own community nursing service in Perth. This venture was driven by her deep-seated belief that proactive, specialised management could prevent complications and improve the overall well-being of her clients, enabling them to lead their best lives possible. 

Mrs. Amanda Parfitt

Amanda Parfitt has 34 years' nursing experience and 30 years of that in the field of Spinal Cord Injury nursing working in Spinal Units in both the UK and Australia.

Amanda's role within Coloplast is the Clinical Nurse Advisor for WA. Her most recent role prior to joining Coloplast was as a Clinical Nurse with the Spinal Outreach Service at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth


Amanda has a strong focus in providing education and support in regards to neurogenic bladder and bowel patient groups, including conditions such as: Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury and Spina Bifida and specifically in regards to teaching and supporting Intermittent Catheter education and Transanal irrigation (Peristeen).

Working at Coloplast has enabled Amanda to blend and share her experience, knowledge and passions within nursing to provide evidence based education and support to health care professionals, clients and family members whilst remaining clinically active running clinics and providing direct patient care.

She performs individualised bladder and bowel reviews for her patients and assists in getting them the best product for their needs by providing them with comprehensive letters of recommendation.


Amanda is available for face to face or virtual telephone / telehealth clinics in Western Australia.
