We are please to announce our last education dinner for 2024. Together with MDevice, we would like to invite you to "An Evening of Functional Urology". This event will be held on Wednesday 27th November at The Lodge Bar and Dining, 49 James Street, Fortitude Valley, commencing at 6pm with welcome drinks and then at 6.45pm to be seated for dinner and lectures.

We have Dr Anthony Kiosoglous, Urologist presenting on "The Neurogenic Bladder" and Ms Amy Jones, CNC for Geriatrics and Rehabilitation, wound, continence and stoma at STARS hospital presenting on "Neurological assessment and the impact of cognitive impairment on learning for patient's with bladder dysfunction"

Dr Anthony Kiosoglous



Dr Anthony Kiosoglous is a urological and reconstructive surgeon. He is Brisbane trained and completed a two-year fellowship in London, at Guy's & St Thomas, and University College Hospital.


His sub-specialty interests include the following:

1. Urinary Incontinence

2. Vaginal Prolapse Repairs

3. Erectile Dysfunction and Peyronie's Disease

4. Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections and Interstitial Cystitis

5. Neuro-Urology (Spinal Cord Injuries, Strokes, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Spina Bifida) and Urodynamics.


He is an international presenter and publisher and is a reviewer of multiple surgical and urological international journals.


Dr Kiosoglous is the Director of Urology at QE II Jubilee Hospital, an Elected Queensland Committee Representative of the College of Surgeons, a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand and the International Continence Society.

Amy Jones


Amy Jones works at the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Hospital as the CNC for Geriatrics and Rehabilitation, advancing the wound, continence and stoma portfolio. Prior to this Amy has spent a two decades in neurology. She set up the apomorphine, duodopa and deep brain stimulation services at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and is a founding member in setting up the movement disorder chapter for the Australasian Neuroscience Nurses Association. In 2017 she completed her masters in acute care nursing and is currently studying her masters of Nurse Practitioner.
